Harps for Rent
MCMF has the following harps for rent. Contact MCMF office for harp availability and rental fees.
- Harpsicles (lap harps) by William Rees. Nylon-strung, 26 strings, no levers. Plain wood and in a variety of colors.
- Dusty Strings “Ravenna” lever harp. 26 strings, nylon-strung. Has detachable legs. Full levers.
- Salvi nylon-strung “Prima” lever harp. 38 strings. Full Loveland levers.
- Musicmaker “Voyager” lever harp. Nylon-strung, 32 strings, full levers.
- Cythera Nova lever harp by John Westling of Sandpiper Harps. 34-strings (strung with Savarez ), full Loveland levers.
- German Renaissance Harp by Rick Kemper of Sligo Harps, Silver Spring Md. “Bubinga Harfe”, 32 strings; modeled after the “German harp, ca 1700″ in the Boston MFA, strung in gut and nylgut.
- Traditional Venezuelan “Arpa llanera” harp. 37 nylon strings
- 18 string wire-strung harp by Jay Witcher
- William Rees “Logan Meadow” lever harp. 29 nylon strings and full levers.
