History of the Harp Lecture-demonstration

One of the functions of Festival of Harps is to present educational outreach programs about the harp. One of the most popular of these programs is the lecture-demonstration entitled, History of the Harp which tells the 5,000 year story of the harp as it grew throughout the world.  The presentation features history and performances on a wide variety of harps including: African bow harps, medieval and renaissance harps, Celtic wire-strung, Venezuelan, and modern lever harps.
